Junior Shooters Compete in Montrose

The Pierre Jr Shooters participated in the South Dakota Shooting Sports State BB Gun Match held on April 18 in Montrose. Teams participating included Brule Co, Davison Co, Doughas Co, Grant Co, Highmore, Humboldt, Kirley, Lake Co, Marshall Co, Pierre and Spink Co.
Individual BB Gun results in the 8-9 yr old division:
Taylor Curry - sixth - standing; overall fifth.
Jasmine Hays - tenth - prone; fourth - kneeling.
Alayna Kliewer - second - prone; first - standing; sixth - sitting; overall third.
Jenna Kruger - eighth - prone; overall tenth.
Emmit Steeneck - sixth - sitting.
10-11 yr old division:
Vanya Kliewer - 90 on test; seventh - prone; fifth - standing; sixth - sitting; ninth - kneeling; overall fourth.
12-15 yr old division:
Jacob Beastrom - 94 on test; fifth - sitting.
Adam Forman - 90 on test; eighth - prone.
Ryan Habeck - 96 on test; fourth - standing; sixth - sitting; eighth - kneeling; overall third.
Trevor Habeck - 90 on test; sixth - prone.
Justin Merriman - fifth -standing.
Natalie Mohr - 98 on test.
Wyatt Rose - 90 on test.
Cassandra Ryckman - 92 on test; fourth - sitting.
Zane Schuchard - 94 on test; fourth - kneeling; overall eighth.
Alee Smith - first - sitting.
